Alcohol
Programs
Scheduling and Fees
SCHEDULING
All programs are
comprised of three private sessions
with Rhonda. In some instances, this
may include two hands-on sessions
with the last session on the telephone
(only if the problem has been completely
abated on all levels). This is discussed
further in the Alcohol FAQ section.
In some instances, particularly if
there are two intertwined issues affecting
you, additional sessions or another
program may be combined and suggested.
This will be discussed when you call
to schedule your appointment.
We offer two options
if you are scheduling for the Alcohol
Program:
- A stay of four
or five days to complete the program
(Friday, Monday and Tuesday) or (Tuesday,
Thursday, and Friday). We don’t
see people on the weekend or on Wednesday,
and it is better if there is a day
between the first and second session.
Most people traveling from out-of-state
prefer this option.
- The program completed within a
week and a half for those who would
prefer to travel back and forth from
their homes (those who reside close
to our location).
Appointment times
are generally from 10:00 AM to 4:15
PM. Since we are often booked ahead
for a month or more, we strongly advise
you schedule your appointment well
in advance, if possible.
Please call Barry
at 802-537-3222 or
888-412-8392 to schedule.
FEES
The program fee
for the Alcohol Program is $3,200
(US funds).
In order to schedule
an appointment, we require a non-refundable
deposit of $1,200. You can
pay this by credit card (AMEX, DISCOVER,
MasterCard or VISA) or forward a money
order or check. The balance
of $2000 is due at your first
visit and must be paid by Credit Card,
cash, certified bank check, or money
order ONLY. Personal
checks will not be accepted at your
first visit, but are accepted for
your deposit if it is received three
weeks in advance of your visit.
If you schedule
a second program for another issue
within 6 months of your first or a
previous issue, the fee is $2,800.
The deposit for this program is the
same as the initial program.
(For family,
group, agency and corporate rates,
as well as on-site criteria, please
contact Barry for details.)
If you should
have a need to return within six months
for a tune-up session, the fee will
be $395 for a
follow-up session.
Follow-up
This session is designed to provide
reinforcement for a recent issue.
Typically, it will be adequate up
to 6 months after an initial program.
Phone
Sessions
At your last session, Rhonda will
understand, through your system, the
next best time to connect. Almost
all the time, this connection will
take place on the telephone. It is
generally a 10-15-minute session.
This meeting will provide additional
feedback about your system, provide
time to ask additional questions that
might have arisen since your in-office
visit, and allow your personalized
protocol to be fine-tuned. As your
system changes after your program,
so will your protocol. This phone session
is included as part of the program fee;
any follow-up phone sessions beyond that
are $285 per 15-minute segment.
CANCELLATIONS
We have a small
practice, we do not overbook,
and we are generally booked well in
advance. We ask for a non-refundable
deposit for your appointment time because any cancellations
affect us significantly and it is
very difficult to fill in an appointment
on short notice because most clients
travel a distance to see us. Of course,
if it a matter of life-or-death, we
will provide an alternate time for
your program.
We require a minimum
24-hour notice of cancellation or
rescheduling for any follow-up appointments
or telephone sessions, otherwise we
ask you to take responsibility for
the fee associated with your appointment.
GUESTS
Although it is
by no means a requirement, it is suggested
that a spouse, parent, other family
member or close friend accompany you
to at least your first session with
us. Again, this is by no means a requirement
and in no way will affect your outcome.
The reason for
the guest accompanying you is that they, depending
on your comfort level, can be present
following your session to listen to
your feedback. You will have the option
to make that decision – even
if they accompany you – immediately
after your session. If they do participate,
they will gain a deeper understanding
of your issues and be subject to the
personalized protocol you will receive.
They may be in a position to assist
you in following those recommendations
that your system will so eloquently
produce. Additionally, you may feel
very relaxed after your first session
and would appreciate someone else
driving or accompanying you on the
road if you have a lengthy drive ahead
of you.
PREPARATION
In order for you
to obtain the best outcome and for
Rhonda to be able to work in your
best behalf, we require that you abstain
from any alcohol for 18-24 hours prior
to your first session. If you are
unable to do that, please call Barry
to discuss your situation, as we have
options to help you accomplish this
(please see Alcohol FAQ on this subject).
Also, if you fear
you would have withdrawals or seizures
from suddenly stopping drinking (we
have not been aware of any of our
clients having any), it is advisable
– and we strongly encourage
you – to contact your physician
prior to coming to see us. He/she
can offer some options. Please see
Alcohol FAQ, as we offer some options
as well concerning this situation.
Other than
abstaining prior to the session, there
are no other requirements for preparation
you need to be concerned about.
